Oliver has a strong
background in communication training, commercial education
and sports coaching. These skills were developed through working
in private and public sector organizations. Oliver is a firm
believer in learning through effective participation, skills
transfer and the need for practice. This helps him initiate
effective change and development in clients.
His early years in Hong Kong were spent developing his professional
experience and career by teaching in local and international
University programs. These courses have focused on all aspects
of effective communication skills, in a Chinese environment,
and covered topics such as reading, writing, speaking and
listening.
Through over 10 years of coaching elite athletes Oliver has
the proven ability to get participants to not only learn new
techniques, but also to transfer skills into practice. Oliver’s
personal conviction is to ‘control the controllable’,
making sure that what can get done, does! He brings to Active
Communication a high level of professionalism and experience,
which is reflected in his interaction with clients.
Oliver’s recent clients have been from the following
sectors; Law, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Banking, Information
Technology, Human Resources, Government Departments and Charities.
